I love your work, very good. I have been a painter for many years as well and love Rubens too. I worked with a student of J. Maroger for many years and paint using Maroger medium. Maroger gets a bad name but I have paintings done in the 1950's that are as fresh as if painted today. I think it very close to the medium that Rubens used. Good luck with continued work.
